Mr. Phillips is a corporate director of South Bow and has been a pioneer and a supporter of the pipeline industry for many years. Previously, Mr. Phillips served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Crestwood Equity Partners LP from 2013 to 2023, as well as President from 2013 to 2022. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at several energy companies, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Products Partners LP, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GulfTerra Energy Partners, and senior executive positions with El Paso Corporation. Mr. Phillips also held directorships at Pride International, Inc. and Bonavista Energy Corporation. He also served on the National Petroleum Council, advising the U.S. Department of Energy, from 2021 to 2023.
Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law.
