Since May 2019, the White Spruce Pipeline System has provided safe transportation and market access for growing volumes of crude oil produced in Alberta’s oil sands region. The 72-kilometre (45- mile), 20-inch pipeline, is a critical piece of pipeline and is designed to transport crude oil produced at Canadian Natural Resources Limited's Horizon Oil Sands Facility in northeast Alberta to Grand Rapids.
